Sit with Me
Will you take the time to explore with me? Letting our feet wander without thought to direct and or how much time it will take. Will you sit with me in comfortable silence? Shall we soak up the sun and enjoy the view? Or will we make excuses and defer the chance to spend time together until another day. If we do, we may find we will never find the time. Those excuses such as I’m too tired to explore or have too many other things to do, are easy to make and sometimes hard to ignore. And yet they will keep us from moments of shared joy, love and companionship. Moments too precious to lose because of an excuse. Again, I will ask will you be by my side as I explore the world around me? Will you share your knowledge with me that I may share with you the things that inspired and amaze you? Will you listen as I share my concerns, my hopes and my dreams? Together we make memories to treasure when life brings us down, to warm our hearts and souls. So today dear reader I ask that you take time to ask someone to sit with you, to lean in and give comfort to each other, to laugh and to cry whatever you need. Life is too short not to enjoy time together for who know what tomorrow may bring. Take the all the time you need to rest, relax and rejuvenate with someone you love. It will be time well spent.
