--by swanlandschool, posted Aug 30, 2007

Last term we hired a masai to guard our school and the next day the masai was so kin listerning and wanted to read although he had not gone to school he talked to every pupil that he saw with a book and wanted to have it. Next day he borrowed a bok and a pen from the office that he wanted to learn to write and read . Next day l came to compound and there was no one to ope for me he was busy rading assited by one pupil in class five. i stood at the gate for five minutes but he did not realize what was happening so l called him and asked him to ope for me. The next day l came again from town and he was very busy playing football with some pupils with his books in hand .l called him in my office and asked him if he can go to class and learn with other children before even ifinished he had alread accepted. .l asked him why he want to learn he told me that he want to learn so that he can know how to read and write and he will become a teacher and help other Masai who did not have time to go to school. Today l gave him uniform and every thing he needs in school and he is a pupil now in class four he is twentyone years old . Thank you God for my devotion to help many give me resources to help many as long as l live.
love my work
